Eagle Scout in the Making

Sam has all Merit Badges completed except Citizenship in the World and I think he only has one activity on that one to be done and then his Eagle Project and he will be an Eagle Scout...and will be able to get his drivers license when he turns 16 (earning the rank of Eagle is a requirement to be able to drive...just ask Jarom). Below is the 3 he received at the Court of Honor we attended on Wednesday evening.

For his Citizenship in the Nation he had to visit a National Historic Site and he chose to visit the Methodist Boston Avenue Church in downtown Tulsa. We went for family night and it was quite interesting. We actually were allowed to go in and we were guided through the church by a man who was waiting for his son who was attending his scout meetings. He was a very nice man and gave us a good tour...incidently his wife did tours officially so he was quite knowledgeable.

Below is my crazy family. Abby is sweet, I don't know what my dorky husband is doing, Lacey's feet are beginning to swell, Lexi is acting like she is way to cool to be photo'd with crazy family, Sam is the one that makes the family crazy, and then there is Chase...what's a mother to do? Crazy Sam...

Some of the arcitecture(sp?)that makes the church a National Historic Site. It was a beautiful church in it own right...a little too gaudy for me and Lexi commented that it didn't feel much like a church...wonder why??
