The fifth day of the trip was Sunday. We attended Michael and Carly's ward where they gave the Sacrament talks. Their topic was Service and they did a great job. Carly was nervous and started to cry right off the bat...but then she got a hold of herself and gave a wonderful talk. Michael gave Grandma Brimhall a beautiful tribute of how her service blesses her family by doing all the things she does for them.
As we came home Carly thought that she had left the key to the apartment inside and so we were locked out. Carly said the only other key was the one they gave to Kiara and so I called Kiara and she left Sacrament Meeting to come and let us into the apartment. Meanwhile Michael came up with a brilliant idea...watch the video and see what he did...
(Don't tell Michael, but Carly had the key in her bag all along...she just thought that she left it on the kitchen table....)
After we changed clothes we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house for Sunday dinner. Mom made us yummy sweet and sour chicken! And we had corn on the cob...nothing better than that!
We enjoyed a visit by Jeff and Cyd after dinner. When they left we decided to take a drive up the canyon and show Beth Covered Bridge Canyon. We tried to warn her that it wasn't the same...which the house wasn't but the canyon was beautiful and we enjoyed the ride.
We got out of the cars right after we went across the river and Grandpa gave a run down on why it was called Covered Bridge Canyon.

In the pasture a mare had just given birth to her colt.
What a wonderful Sunday...couldn't be any better!

What fun times and memories y'all are making!
By the way the key story was too funny!
Man I am glad those talks are over. That was a terrible morning, but the rest of the day was fun!
