The Joys of 9 am Church

It's Been a Year

One year ago we bought our house.

We added some space in the garage entrance.

Sam has mastered climbing the rocks in the family room.

We laid sod on the front side yard.

just to have it all washed away in a torrential rain storm.
We have since planted grass by seed and it has done much better.

We tore out these bushes and planted grass and put flowers in.

Trimmed the trees.

Planted the front flower beds.

Chopped down several trees.

Raked up over a hundred bags of leaves
and that is not an exageration!

It's been a good year
and I love my house!

How Can You Be Mad At Him

Sometimes I would like to BOMP this kid!!
Like Saturday.
I gave everyone chores and told them to get at it.
After about an hour I went down to Sam's room
and there he was
lying on his bed
with his ipod stuck in his ears!!!
*!#%#**?>!!

If I was ten feet taller I would have booted him!


But then today while sitting in Sacrament Meeting
listening to him bless the bread
my heart softened and I realized
what a lucky mother I am to have such a
wonderful boy
who keeps himself worthy to bless the sacrament
each and every week for our ward.
He also left right after church to go with a
High Councilman in our ward
to give a talk in another ward...

How can a mother stay upset at that???

Haircuts

Tuesday night we all got haircuts
Brenda Cosby cuts all of our hair and she
comes to the house!
Everyone got a haircut tonight except Papa!!
(He cuts his own)

Chase was excited because he has flat hair!!!!
