| Schools have been closed since last Tuesday(2/1/2011) and Lexi has declared that we have had enough Family Time to last a whole year!!! |

| Since we haven't been able to go ANYWHERE we've bundled up and gone outside to play! |

| This is how red-necked this family is... LaVor gave us the wrecked hood from the Jimmy and we tied a string around the front so we could haul it up the front side yard and we slide down the hill!! Talk about FUN!!! |

| Zulu on the deck. The dogs gave us a scare during the storm. We let them in the front yard thinking they would stay with us but they bolted and we had no way to follow them or go find them because our cars were undrivable. They didn't come home that night and the temperature went below zero. I was afraid that they would freeze to death or that someone would pick them up and take them. (We didn't have tags on them because they chew their collars off each other) Lacey had the bright idea of posting on Craig's list and lo and behold the next morning a lady called and said she had our dogs. She found our names and number from the posting that Lacey did on Craig's list!!! We had some happy kids! ...and dogs when they came home! |

| Davis could not get enough snow or icicles to eat. He would gather handful after handful and then he would cry because his hands and face were cold. |

| This kid just had fun playing, sliding, jumping and making snow angels. |

| We would play in the snow for a good 2 to 3 hours and then we would come in and eat grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. (Anytime we get so much snow there is a scare that the power will go out.. luckily we have had power this whole week and so we were able to stay warm and cook our food...Thank Heavens!!!) |

| We just found out school is closed tomorrow (Monday) and we are in for another snowstorm on Tuesday!! Looks like another week of way too much family time! Hope we (I) survive!!! |

I sure thought about you guys with all this news of the weather. Looks like it did not disappoint... can't imagine that much snow, for so long. Playing in the snow for about 1 hour is my limit and then I want it to go bye-bye... but the kids are genius and find millions of ways to enjoy it. I do hope we are done with it for this season though :)
